Daubenton Perennial Kale ‘Panache’ ( Brassica oleracea ramosa)

A variegated version of Daubenton Perennial Kale and a very attractive addition to the garden.  Producing clumps of tasty leaves throughout the year, ‘Panache’ has a horizontal growing style with some shoots resting on the ground and potentially rooting, allowing the plant to live for many years.  Grows to 3-4ft high and 4-5ft wide.  Propagate by cuttings.

We have also noticed that where other brassicas in the garden are frequented by pigeons, they leave the ‘Panache’ alone and as a result we do not need to net or cover it at all.
