Catnip / Cat Mint (Nepeta cataria)

Grown in 8cm pot. Hardy perennial. Eventual height 70cm. Flowers (white) June-September.

Most cats adore catnip and are attracted to its fragrance. People too can enjoy this herb as it can also be used to make a relaxing tea.  Catnip is a gentle herb that is helpful for use with children especially to calm and ease upset tummies.
