Daffodil Garlic (Allium neapolitanum)

£3.50£4.50

Edible perennial allium growing to 25cm/10in tall and 10cm/4in wide. Not fully hardy in colder areas of the UK – a sheltered south-facing position is best. Comes into growth in early autumn and produces white flowers in spring which die down in summer.

Leaves can be eaten throughout the growing season but in moderation through the winter. Both leaves and flowers make a great addition to salads and have a mild garlic flavour. Bulbs can also be eaten but are small.

Good bee plant.
