Peppermint has a very long history as a medicinal herb.  It was popular with the Greeks and Romans and dried leaves were found in Egyptian pyramids.

Peppermint’s menthol content makes it a great herb to use as a decongestant – as a balm rubbed onto chest, as a steam or tea.

A great addition to other herbal teas to add a refreshing taste.
